If you change your Salesforce domain name (My Domain), MoveData stops working until you re-authorise it.

Why this happens#

MoveData connects to Salesforce using OAuth (an industry-standard authorisation protocol). OAuth tokens are tied to a specific domain URL. When you change your My Domain, the stored tokens reference the old domain and become invalid.

MoveData can no longer authenticate API calls to your org until you complete a new authorisation.

Re-authorise MoveData#

  1. Log in to Salesforce as the user you want to authorise as the MoveData authorised user.
  2. Open MoveData from the App Launcher.
  3. Navigate to the Settings tab.
  4. Click the Authorise button under Authorise MoveData.

Success

After authorising, check your integrations are running as expected. Navigate to the Integrations tab and confirm each integration shows a recent execution.
