Upgrading MoveData

Occasionally you may need to upgrade your version of MoveData to gain access to new features or functionality.

You can upgrade the MoveData app via https://api.movedata.io/installer/app and following the prompts.

You can upgrade the MoveData Extensions by opening MoveData from the app launcher and clicking Settings → Extensions → Update and following the prompts.

Upgrades can be more complex if you are using a version of MoveData which pre-dates:

If you cannot perform the upgrade yourself, MoveData will perform this free of charge if the upgrade takes less than two hours to complete. If the upgrade takes more than two hours to complete, then a fee of up to 8h, charged at your local rate, will be payable.

It is not possible to forecast effort in advance of completing the upgrade. Therefore, by authorising MoveData to perform the upgrade, you are also authorising MoveData to charge a fee of up to 8h effort for the associated effort in upgrading. The team member performing your upgrade will explicitly confirm this with you prior to completing your upgrade.
