Salesforce Connected App Usage Restrictions

In September 2025, Salesforce made changes to the way connected apps work: https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=005132365&type=1.

Existing Customers

If you are a MoveData customer prior to September 2025, then there is nothing you explicitly need to do.

If you do choose to install MoveData via Setup → Apps → Connected Apps → Manage Connected Apps then you must re-authenticate MoveData after completing this action. To do so, go to MoveData → Settings → General → Authorise MoveData and click "Authorise". More information about the authorised user is available here.

New Customers

MoveData will automatically install as an authorised connected app.
