Organisation Accounts created as Anonymous Households

On rare occasions, when company information is processed into Salesforce MoveData may create an "Anonymous Household" record instead of an Organisation Account. This is due to configuration in Salesforce - to resolve:

  1. Open Setup

  2. Go to Users → Profiles

  3. Click on the Profile associated with the MoveData user (usually System Administrator)

  4. Find the section titled Record Type Settings → Standard Record Type

  5. Under Accounts click Edit

  6. Find the section titled Default Record Type and ensure this is set to Organisation

  7. Click Save

If you reprocess the notification which previously created the anonymous household, you will find it now creates an Organisation Account.
