Matched Gifts

Good2Give does not explicitly link employee donations and employer matched gifts. MoveData employs fuzzy logic to determine matched gifts where an employee contact appears alongside both Workplace Giving and Employee Matching donations of the same amount and within the same file. Where a matched gift is identified MoveData will create an opportunity contact role of Soft Credit for the employee contact on the employer donation, and set Matching Gift Status to Received and Matching Gift Employer and Matching Gift Account to the Employer Account.
